Two of my short stories are featured at e-zines this month

Wow, this is the first time I post two blogs in one day here. The reason of course is I'm playing catch up. I'm great at it when I want to be and today, I want to be.

Aside from the release of my novel this week, two of my short stories are featured online this month. Yay! One is a story "The Miracle of Life" I wrote for my husband five years ago. He hates horror stories and wanted me to write an unpredictable story, so I did. It's in the first person POV and I don't usually write fiction in this POV. Surprisingly, he loved it.

A couple of months ago when I was rummaging through my Word files of stories, I came across the tale and decided to resubmit it to other markets. Five years ago, I sent it to a few magazines but only got rejections for it, so I put it aside and forgot completely about it.

Anyway, this time around, it got accepted by Static Movement and is featured in the December issue. You can find it here:

My other tale is a dark Sci-Fi piece titled "Is It Deja Vu?" I wrote a couple of months ago. This is one of my favorite tales because it's based a bit on the National Geographic special they had on the freak cold war experiments of many, many years ago.

If you'd like to check it out, you can at Short-Story. Me  Here's the link:

Okay, that's it for the blogs for today. Now it's time to catch up on writing. Have a marvelous evening.

Cheers,
Gio
